mudflow soils, characterized by a sandy texture
and highly-permeable stony subsoil, irrigated
with waters from the Diamante River. |

CLIMATE:
dry and mild summers, long days and cool nights
that contribute to obtaining fruits with excellent
color, scent and flavor. |

HARVEST
CONDITIONS: grapes come from vineyards
ranging 40 to 80 years old. They are manually
harvested in the sunny warmth of March, in
20kg cases. |
 |
 |
FERMENTATION
PROCESS: the fermentation
temperature ranges from 20 to 25 C, the process
continues by adding specially selected yeasts
for red grape wines. The crop is done by picking
out selected fruits from Cabernet Sauvignon,
Malbec and Syrah varieties.
The wine is aged for 12 months in American
oak barrels. |

DESCRIPTION:
The combination of these varieties brings
about a very complex wine with a strong personality.
The wine shows the dense red fruits blended
with the properties of the oak that deliver
great persistency and an intense bouquet on
the nose.
The wine is intensely crimson red in color,
very harmonious and fully bodied. |
