ORIGIN: Finca Doña Silvia. Rama Caída, San Rafael, Mendoza.

SOILS: mudflow soils, characterized by a sandy texture and highly-permeable stony subsoil, irrigated with waters from the Diamante River.

CLIMATE: dry and mild summers, long days and cool nights that contribute to obtaining fruits with excellent color, scent and flavor.

HARVEST CONDITIONS: grapes come from vineyards ranging 40 to 80 years old. They are manually harvested in the sunny warmth of March, in 20kg cases.

FERMENTATION PROCESS: the fermentation temperature ranges from 20 to 25 C, the process continues by adding specially selected yeasts for red grape wines. The crop is done by picking out selected fruits from Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Syrah varieties.
The wine is aged for 12 months in American oak barrels.

DESCRIPTION: The combination of these varieties brings about a very complex wine with a strong personality. The wine shows the dense red fruits blended with the properties of the oak that deliver great persistency and an intense bouquet on the nose.
The wine is intensely crimson red in color, very harmonious and fully bodied.
